The group is growing at Stony Brook. We are glad to hear from prospective PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and undergraduates, and from clinical and basic-science groups looking to collaborate.
The group is growing at Stony Brook, and we are glad to hear from prospective PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and undergraduates. The work suits people with a background in biomedical or electrical engineering, computer science, physics or applied mathematics, and an interest in ultrasound, inverse problems, signal processing or machine learning. No single one of those is a prerequisite; curiosity about measuring what is happening inside tissue matters more.
We are also interested in collaborations with clinical and basic-science groups working on cancer, neurological disease or radiotherapy. If any of that overlaps with what you do, please get in touch.
Write with a short note about what interests you in the group's work, a CV, and if you are applying for a PhD, the programme you are applying to. Prospective PhD students should also apply through the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook; admission is handled by the department, not by individual laboratories.
